Rome is full of photo oportunities. I tried to use symetry, shapes, light and colour to make these photographs different from the millions taken every year.

Castor & PolluxIn Roman mythology, Pollux was a powerful boxer, and Castor a great horseman. Looking symbolically towards the Vatican city and away from the Roman Forum they stand infront of Michelangelo's Piazza del Campidoglio. |

Villa BorgheseThe Villa Borghese, built by the architect Flaminio Ponzio now houses a substantial part of the Borghese collection of paintings, sculpture and antiquities, which was begun by Cardinal Scipione Borghese, the nephew of Pope Paul V. |

Trevi FountainThe fountain was built by the architect Salvi and decorated by several artists of Bernini's school. Placed at the end of an ancient aqueduct that supplied water to Rome, since 19 BC it served Rome for more than four hundred years. |

Piazza Venezia & Trajan's ColumnRome's skyline is scattered with domes. Stood here, on the Vittoriano monument, you see the many statues covering the vast building and also Trajan's Collumn, carved with scenes from Trajan's battle with the Dacians. |

Temple to SaturnWhile dedicated to the god, Saturn, the temple's chief use was as the seat of the treasury of the Roman Empire (aerarium), storing the Empire's reserves of gold and silver. |
